Today we were delighted to visit the Defence Academy, Shrivenham to deliver a pensions brief as part of the Intermediate Command and Staff Course (Land) Transition Week
The week is designed to give students a final boost of information relevant to their next roles, whether they are on the Staff or in Command, and looks into three main areas: Command, Staff and Operations.
We joined supporting speakers drawn from across Defence including speakers from NATO, JFC, RN, RAF and RM and featuring a CLM talk from a serving Bde Comd’s perspective. Our Chief Executive Neil Marshall and Pension Adviser Mick Birrell gave the course a presentation on the AFPS and why it matters to them and their soldiers.
