A warm welcome in Cyprus!

This week our pensions roadshow is in Cyprus.

We have a very full week which began on Monday with a brief to the troops at Wolseley Barracks, Nicosia, the home of Sector 2 United Nations Forces in Cyprus (UNFICYP).

27 Regiment, Royal Logistic Corps are the unit in charge on a 6 month deployment which is nearing its completion.  There was a warm welcome from the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Darren Fisher MBE who has been very supportive in encouraging his officers and soldiers to better understand their pension entitlements in order to make fully informed decisions about their future

On Tuesday Neil delivered a Pension Tax Workshop to cover Annual Allowance (AA) at Episkopi and then headed out to RAF Akrotiri ready for today’s briefs  which were all really well attended – in fact it was standing room only!

The briefings continued this afternoon with a trip back to Episkopi to brief to local Cyprus branch members, before two more briefs on AFPS 05 (05/15) and AFPS75 (75/15).

Tomorrow we’re off to Dhekelia for our final day, but a huge thank you to all involved so far. We hope you have found our pension briefs to be interesting and informative.
