Having successfully trialled our Roadshow ‘live’ webinars with our Members in April, we are now opening them up to military units and courses.
There are two webinars available covering Armed Forces Pension Schemes (AFPS) 05/15 and AFPS’ 75/15, each lasting for approximately one hour. The webinars are unclassified and delivered using the Zoom platform. They allow for up to 100 participants per briefing and can be presented to personnel either in unit/on course, or remotely if they are working from home due to the current COVID-19 restrictions.
Units and courses wishing to request an AFPS 05/15 and/or AFPS 75/15 webinar for their personnel should email the FPS Roadshow Manager, David Roberts, at davidr@forpen.co.uk
David can provide full details of how the webinars are run and, once a date and time have been agreed, will send Zoom invitations including a URL, password and meeting ID to access the webinar. Guidance notes on how to join the webinar, including details of a helpline for anybody encountering difficulties joining it, and protocol for the conduct of the webinar, for example how to ask questions via the Zoom chat facility, will be also be made available.
We have received very positive feedback for the AFPS webinars that we have run recently, and now look forward to widening their availability and presenting them to military units and courses.
