On 4 July, our CE spoke to the serving UK Military Members at the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS) in Seaford House, London
The discussion covered the current strategic pension environment and some of the top issues of the day including the 2015 Remedy (McCloud) and Pension Taxation.
The RCDS course is a post graduate level course in international level strategic studies focussing on political, diplomatic, security, social and economic issues at the grand strategic level – the level at which governments take decisions.
It was a great opportunity to help the next generation of strategic leaders to understand some of the wider context surrounding the long term provision of Public Service Pensions and the AFPS in particular.
And as an RCDS Member himself (2013’s Course) Neil enjoyed a return to one of his previous stomping grounds!
