We are excited to announce new changes to the team….
Ali Waddie has joined the team as Roadshow Manager replacing David Roberts. Ali previously served in the Royal Artillery for 16 years and worked in Financial Services with a St. James’s Place partner practice. Her primary role will be coordinating and elivering the Society’s roadshow engagements to serving audiences, including Volunteer Reserves, in the UK and overseas. In her spare time, she enjoys looking after her Romanian rescue dogs and has been involved with the Invictus Games Foundation which resulted in her being selected for the UK team for the Warrior Games.
Hannah Griffiths has joined the team as a Forces Pensions Consultant. Hannah previously worked for 17 years in the Royal Air Force and for 18 months for Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises. She joined the financial services industry in October 2018 and is a qualified financial adviser. Her primary role includes answering pension enquiries and moderating roadshow webinars. Outside work her interests include running and overseas travel. She is studying to become a Chartered Financial Planner.
We are also delighted to announce that David Roberts having joined the Society in February 2020 as the Roadshow Manager, has now taken over as Head of Pensions. His primary role is to lead and manage the pension enquiry team and contribute to the work of the executive team. His previous employment includes being the Director Operations Support with Garda World International Protective Services and he was the CEO for an expert witness company. Prior to this he spent 29 years in the Army where his final appointment before leaving in 2015 was Assistant Chief of Staff Sustainability in MOD A Block.
