McCloud Speculation

As a follow up to our recent post on the McCloud Public Consultation, we are hearing a lot of rumour and speculation regarding the McCloud remedy.

What happens if I have already taken my benefits since 1st April 2015?

Will members who were previously covered by ‘transitional protection’ also be moved into AFPS15?

For those considering leaving in the next few years are the EDP rules of 18/40 still going to apply to those on the 05 Scheme even after they join the 15 scheme after 31 Mar 22?

Will pension calculations based on ‘rank at exit’ rules for 75 scheme members finish on 31 Mar 22 when the legacy scheme ends, or we will it be calculated on rank at exit when leaving?
