There is now a digital option for Service personnel to request a pension forecast from Veterans UK.
The original AFPS Form 12 (Request for Forecast of Individual Pension Benefit) is accessible on GOV.UK but must be printed and signed in black ink before being submitted to Veterans UK by post. This is not changing and serving members can still use this if they wish.
As part of MODs Continuous Improvement, the new digital AFPS Form 12 is available on DefNet and allows serving members to complete a pension forecast request on their MODNet laptop/pc and to receive their forecast directly to their MODNet email address.
The new digital AFPS Form 12 must only be completed on a MODNet device.
Forms received from a personal email address will not be accepted.
The digital form can be accessed through DefNet via this link or by typing, “digital AFPS Form 12” in to the search bar on DefNet and clicking on the top result.
