It’s important to consider how family would fare if you were to die – for whatever reason.
There are currently three Armed Forces Pension Schemes (AFPS) and one Reserve Forces Pension Scheme (RFPS) from which family benefit entitlements could be available, in the event of your death, whether the pension is in payment or not.
