War Widows Recognition Payment Q&A

Earlier this year we commented on the anncouncement made by MoD, that war widows who forfeited their pensions prior to 2015 could be eligible for a one-off payment of £87,500.

Members might be intersted to know that the Government has announced that these payments will be exempt from income tax and National Insurance contributions.
