Earlier this year we commented on the anncouncement made by MoD, that war widows who forfeited their pensions prior to 2015 could be eligible for a one-off payment of £87,500.
Members might be intersted to know that the Government has announced that these payments will be exempt from income tax and National Insurance contributions.

- Eligible War Widows should initially email veterans-UK@mod.gov.uk with the following information:
