The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Awards 2023 were hosted at the prestigious Royal Automobile Club (RAC) on Pall Mall last week.
The ERS encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same. The scheme encompasses bronze, silver and gold awards for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
Reperesented by our Deputy Head of Pensions Mike Davis, and Pensions Consultant Alisa Lakeman-Ford at the event, The Society joined 37 other organisations’ celebrating exceptional achievements in supporting the Armed Forces community. Congratulations to all!
We were delighted to receive the award, and to achieve the ERS Silver status, and of course we now strive to aim higher to get that Gold!
