Members Pension Forecast Request & Audit Process

Members are reminded to please follow the process below to obtain a pension forecast from Veterans UK. Once received, you can submit the forecast to our Forces Pensions Consultants to be audited and to receive a detailed breakdown.
Please note, FPS guidance is based on the accuracy and timeliness of the information you provide. The only valid sources are a current Veterans UK Forecast or JPA.
Serving members of the Armed Forces can apply for one free pension forecast from Veterans UK (JPAC) per 12-month period. A pension forecast will provide you with a projection of your pension entitlements.

To request a pension forecast, you need to complete an AFPS Form 12 and send it to Veterans UK (address included on the form). Alternatively, a digital AFPS Form 12 is available on DefNet. The digital form allows you to complete a pension forecast request on your MODNet device and you will receive the forecast directly to your MODNet email address. The new digital AFPS Form 12 must be completed on a MODNet device. Forms sent to Veterans UK from a personal email address will not be accepted.

To submit your forecast to be audited, please log in to the Member’s Area of the FPS website and click on ‘Submit a question’. In Subject, select Pension Forecast Audit and Explanation, then click on the link provided.

Please complete the form and upload all required documents. You will need:

  • A scan/ photo of the pension forecast from Veterans UK
  • Salary details from 1 April 2015 to date
  • Dates of any breaks in service or previous service
  • Details on additional pension contributions
  • A copy of the Discharge of Liabilities letter if you have a Pension Sharing Order (following a divorce)

Thank you.
