We are very aware of the frustration many of our members are expressing over the issuing of Remediable Service Statements (RSSs) and for action to follow once an election choice is made.
The challenge the Minsitry of Defence and all Government Departments face in implementing the 2015 Remedy (McCloud) is significant and we continue to hold the MoD and DBS Veterans UK to account for the effective administration of this process via the Armed Forces Pension Board.
The MoD’s policy position remains that RSSs should be issued to all those affected by the 1st April ’25 deadline. If that position changes we have been assured the MoD will issue an update.
We have a series of engagements planned over the coming months with the MoD and will keep you posted on any significant developments.
