Our group briefings help the military community – those serving, service leavers, veterans, families – better understand their Armed Forces pension.
Last Week: A productive end to February with just under 600 attendees at our 6 engagements. Plenty of engagement from my Regimental briefings at 19 Regt RA, HCR and 1RRF.
Well done to the organisers of the National Transition/Motor Sport Event at Silverstone which was a great success. Over 120 attendees came to the stand, keeping us busy with your pension questions.
I also attended a session with Al Carns Minister for Veterans and People on Op ASCEND details of which can be found here. The project aims to pick up at the two year point after leaving service for Veterans when access to CTP Resettlement services ends. It is aimed also at families and trying to get employers to understand what Veterans have to offer. Employers, veterans and their families across the UK can sign up to Op ASCEND here.
This Week:
Tuesday: A combined 15/05/75 brief to 5 AAC in Middle Wallop in the morning; A combined 15/05/75 brief to HQ 11 Bde in Aldershot in the afternoon; and finally A bespoke 15 only brief to Tri-Service Foundation Doctors also in Aldershot in the evening
Thursday: A combined 15/05/75 brief to 14 Sig Regt in Haverfordwest.
