At the time of writing the Feb 2026 newsletter, the Government statement concerning the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Average Weekly Earnings (AWE) Index increases due to be applied in April 2026 has not been published. However, in line with statute we expect Armed Forces pensions in payment to increase in April at the 2025 CPI rate of 3.8%.
We will confirm the CPI and AWE increases once the statement has been issued.
