We are supporting a growing number of members whose pensions in payment have been suspended after making their 2015 Remedy election choice for alternative benefits through an Immediate Choice Remediable Service Statement (RSS).
This is an unacceptable and extremely distressing situation for many which we have raised to senior management in Veterans UK who acknowledged the problem and immediately undertook to rectify. We have been assured that affected cases will be monitored on a weekly basis to help ensure the issue is resolved ASAP.
Veterans UK has promised to keep us posted, and we will continue to keep a close watch on developments. As soon as we receive further information, we will report back to members.
