We have been contacted by a handful of Members worried that they have received a possible ‘scam’ letter from Equiniti Paymaster.
The letter asks for ‘confirmation of identity in order for them (Equiniti) to continue paying your Armed Forces Pension’.
Having been alerted to this issue we have since raised it with Equiniti directly and can confirm that completion of the AFPS Declaration Form requested in the letter is a requirement, and not a scam. We have been assured that Equiniti have been asked by the MOD to compile this information.
