On the 6 May, the Chief Executive met with the Armed Forces Commissioner, Polly Miller-Perkins CBE in Whitehall.
This first meeting covered areas of mutual interest including the administration of the Armed Forces Pension Scheme as it affects the Regular, Reserve, serving and veteran communities.
The CE spoke to the Society’s 6 key challenges for 2026 with a particular focus on the need to improve the service provided to all communities by the Armed Forces Pension Administrator, Defence Business Services.
Early days for the Armed Forces Commissioner who has a very wide remit. We look forward to working together on areas that will improve the pension ‘lived experience’ in the months and years ahead.
