This year’s AGM brought members, partners and invited guests together for an important moment in the Society’s calendar, combining formal business with the celebration of a major milestone – 80 years of service, collaboration and community impact.

Celebrating 80 years
We also took time to mark our 80th anniversary – a significant milestone reflecting the Society’s journey and the dedication of so many people over the years.
A special mention went to long-standing member Christopher Hill – a member for 24 years – and who is also celebrating his 80th birthday this year, and kindly brought a cake so we could celebrate together!
It was a lovely moment and a reminder of the people who have shaped the Society and continue to support it today.
Looking ahead
As we enter our ninth decade, we do so with a strong sense of purpose. The AGM reinforced the importance of collaboration, transparency and engagement as we continue to represent our members and build on our legacy.
