The 74th AGM of the Forces Pension Society will be held online on Wednesday 9 June 2021 at 11 am.
Noting the uncertainties in the lifting of Covid restrictions, the AGM will be conducted as a hybrid meeting, with the minimum necessary quorum of 7 meeting physically at Apollo Hotel Basingstoke, and all other Members/Guests attending by Zoom.
The AGM will receive and consider the report of Council and the Accounts for the year ending 31 December 2020. The AGM will also elect members of Council and hear a report from the Forces Pension Society Charitable Fund. The accounts will be available on the Society’s website from Monday 10 May.
The event is open to Members and invited guests only. Any member who is unable to attend the meeting by Zoom may appoint a proxy (with an email address) to attend in their place, but no person shall act as a proxy who is not entitled to be present and vote in his or her own right. The names of the proxy should be lodged at the Registered Office not less than 48 hours before the time of the meeting, otherwise the person so named shall not be entitled to vote.
