Veterans’ Pensions Webinar

Following the success of our first update in March, and in case you missed it, the FPS will deliver a second online AFPS update for Veterans at 1230-1315 on Wed 19 Jun via MS Teams. It will cover:

  • The latest on the 2015 Remedy (McCloud) implementation
  • How pension benefits were earned during service and the ages that deferred pensions are paid
  • When and how the pension benefits increase
  • How to obtain a forecast for a deferred pension from Veterans UK
  • Dependents Benefits
  • How to claim a deferred pension
  • The benefits of membership of the Forces Pension Society
  • Additonal updates as requested by Veterans from our previous webinar

The brief will be delivered by the FPS Roadshow Manager with support from our Forces Pension Consultants. Whilst there will not be an opportunity to ask verbal questions during the brief you can pose questions via the chat function and those questions will be collated by the consultants into themes and then they will talk to those themes.

We would like to add at this point that we do not record our presentations. We understand that many Veterans would be keen to see a recording, but we must recognise that over time policies and circumstances can change, and therefore future viewing of old recordings could potentially lead to making financial decisions based on outdated information.

There is no requirement to register to attend, simply join the brief using the following link. Partners welcome!
